If only they didn't get lazy with level design

This pretty much was the game everybody wanted to geek out about with the X-Men. RPG elements, but Gauntlet at its soul. The cut scenes can be unbareable at times, but the sheer glee the first time you throw a fastball special more than makes up for it. The biggest knock is the game should be much shorter, but the designers decided it was a better idea to make the levels really long with an endless number of basically two enemies per level. Early they needed to make more varied enemies or shorten the levels to fix this.
