This game does not actually continue the first but uses some of the elements. Like in the first game there was this thing that you could mutate people and turn them into the ultimate soldier. So that thing got to Earth and certain people volunteered and became super soldiers each with their own strenghths. But the republic thought of those soldiers as threats so the "Red Faction" as their called are being hunted down. If you want a challenging first person shooter than chack this game out.
