Rainbow Six 2= nothing new
Reviewed by sn1pe_warman on June 08, 2008 | report this review
If you went from playing Rainbow Six to Rainbow six 2 you will notice that they are extremely similar. I know its a sequel and thats how its suppose to be but Its actually hard to find a difference besides the new campaign and added terrorist hunt levels. The biggest and best addition (might be the only edition that I know of) is the new xp system. Just like Call of Duty 4 you gain xp for killing enemies and completing certain challenges. Like headshots, blind fire kills, grenades, and shooting someone threw cover. What puts it apart from Call of Duty 4 is the fact that you gain xp in singleplayer too. I thought that was really cool. There is a major factor that I found with this game and with the first game. Enemies just appear out of nowhere during terrorist hunt. I think its actually worse on this game. Many a time I have been looking at thin air and BAM a terrorist is staring me in the eye. This gets very annoying on higher difficulties. All in all this game is really just one big expansion and is only a must have for die hard fans.

Extreme Hunter Achievement
Hint by sn1pe_warman on June 08, 2008 | report this hint
The best way to snag this achievement is with a buddy. Hook up with someone over xbox live or roll split-screen. Either way its better than playing with a bunch of brain dead AI. The best way to complete a mission would be to ALWAYS check your flank. Many a times has an enemy appeared out of thin air right behind me sending me the MISSION FAILED screen again and again. I found it best to find a corner with good cover and just camp there while the enemies come to you. Most of the time you will get 10 or 15 down before you have to find another spot and complete the process. Hope this helps and CHECK THOSE CORNERS!
