Anyone can handle track racing it's just a series of right turns when you really think about it. It takes a true gamer, however, to tackle racing through the big city. Avoid pedestrians, day-to-day traffic, buildings, fire hydrants, and more in this destructive original. You'll get bonus points for your near-misses, trying to actually win a race while the city bustles around you. Single- and dual-player modes include Time Attack, Single Race, and Championship. get boosts often, learn the tracks, be dangerous!
Hint by justsayshmur on December 28, 2006 | report this hint
drive dangerously, when you can, drive in the wrong lane towards oncoming traffic, but be hugging the wall (if applicable) so u avoid the cars, this will fill up your boost meter, and then once you accumulate enough of this"oncoming traffic" combined with "near misses" and "drifts" your meter will be full and you can use the boost to pass by all others, this rewarding of dangerous driving is crucial to the game, and you need to take advantage of it as often as you can.
if you want to accumulate lots of points by drifting, pick a car with rear wheel drive
if you want to accumulate points mostly by near misses, pick a small agile car
this game is not too difficult, as its just like many of the games you play in an arcade, do not over play or over think it and just enjoy yourself
one last tip, it really helps to know the track / map before you play it, especially before playing it in multi player mode, before you try to win a race on a track, first go through it slowly, keeping in mind where the sharp turns are, and where good points are to go against on coming traffic (to accumulate points for a boost) don't try to memorize the track completely, but just keep in mind where the major bends and turns and environmental factors (intersections) are so you won't learn where they are the hard way ;)
hope this helps, its a very enjoyable game, but it can be made even more enjoyable if you follow these few hints
