great game

this game is perfect. unlike the other games in the seires this one has to do with the music. also much more new charecters like lil jon ti you jeezy jim jones and many more popular rappers. and now theres some new controles used. some of it has to do with the analog like how you fight in fight night games. over all this is a great game.

Better than the first

Even though I played the def jam on ps2 the first edition to this series this one is much better. The 360 graphic on a hi-def television is enough to make you cry. The game play is excellent. Song choice and caracter select was very good. The only thing I would add would be downloads for new songs for the game bc after awhile the same old songs do get old. I played the game for about a total of 6 hours and almost got throught the hole game so not to much of a challenge. But all the same a great way to spend your time....

Disappointing

Def Jam: Fight for NY was great! So, a new Def Jam coming out had me pumped! This game, however, disappointed very much! They removed a lot of great features and this game is very easy. If you like a easy game and a few hours of fun this is the game for you. I would recommend you rent this game before you purchase it thinking it's going to be better then Def Jam: Fight for NY. Let me know if you think different.

This game has an AWSOME concept! I loved the fact that I could deck my charicter out in Jordan clothes/shoes! If your a hip-hopper and you haven't played this title yet... you should!! When I first put it in... I thought it was lame. But after learning it a little bit... I was able to kick butt! I suggest that anyone who likes sim & fighting games to give this one a try. The sound track is the best one I've heard for ANY game system! If you don't have this title yet... GET IT! ... and if you don't like it... trade it to me!! :p

I love this game and the game play is great. It's awesome smashin these dudes on the game, most of them are soo easy. the storyline is better here than def jam fight for NY. not too sure how to get 4 or more girlfriends for the achievement though. it's tough gettin to icon status, but i'm only 9,000 points away from that. Too bad there aren't better cheats than to get some songs and fat joe.
