Very good

Even though I know quite a few people didn;t like it, I loved it. It was pretty fun (although hard) and it didn't get boring and repetitive like a lot of the other FPS's out now do. Not to mention that the graphics are amazing. I really liked it.

awsome game play, superior graphics. this game is not a simple push over fps. it is hard to beat a level, you need to hide in places and plan out your next move while the enemy fires rounds and rounds of ammo. down on your position.
Good Game

Although I haven't played much of this game, the movie at the beginning is good. The weapons are okay and the gameplay seems a bit weird, but after a while, it becomes easy to play. Its an average fps just like RD90 said and its also a good game. I think it might have been better on the ps2.
Great Game

i loved that there are a lot of unlockables and incentives to play over and over. there are only two bad things i can think of; the fact that it takes an entire mag to kill one guy, and the fact that it isnt live, that sucks a fat one.
ps: u can unlock custom soundtracks after u beat it, thats sick.
The best FPS

This game is amazing. It has the best graghics of any FPS if ever played. The game has a lot of great features, but lacks one thing....blood splatter, other than that its a must have. if you unlock silver weapons you get unlimited ammo, and if you beat the game on black ops mode you unlock the M16A2 ( which is the m16 with a grenade launcher).
p.s. to klubber, you dont have to beat the game for custom sound tracks. as long as you have music saved to your xbox you can play the CST.
And to hardcore28 the game looks and plays the same on ps2, the only differences is the the ps2 dosen't have custom sound tracks because the ps2 dosen't have a hard drive.
Black reveiw

BLACK is a secret terrorist-busting squad. Like SWAT, its name is an acronym, but from here on in I'm not going to capitalize all the letters. It will just be known as black because I'm just too lazy to reach for the Caps Lock button. I'm also too lazy to tell you what the letters stand for. I can't remember if it was even explained in the game but in any case I'm not dragging my fat ass all the way home to look it up. Sure I could look it up on net but then I would have to close one of my windows containing free porn. How I wish I could get a job reviewing porn instead of videogames. At least I would be doing something that I'm really good at.
All I can tell you about Black is that they answer to no one. They are so secretive that even the American government denies their existence. They protect the interest of America around the world and can use as much force as necessary to get the job done. The game begins with one member, Kelly, being tortured and interrogated by a terrorist organization known as the Seventh Wave. Missions take place leading up to this ugly situation. The entire story is short and sweet - in a manner of speaking. It's like a ten-minute wedding in which not much is said but the job got done without a lot of useless hoopla. I can really appreciate not having to sit through a lot of lame cutscenes, especially if they aren't relevant to the storyline. There are lots of really good games where I don't even pay attention to the storyline, but then the journalist in me kicks in and I force myself to watch. But I have to acknowledge that the gamer in me could care less about some of these cutscenes and I have to assume there are many gamers out there like me. It's up to the developer to make them interesting. At least Criterion Games opted to keep the action flowing.
Black is a first-person shooter that takes place in mostly abandoned warehouses and factories. The areas are huge and there is plenty of action as the enemy will have swarms of security and general thugs deposited in pockets within these installations. These environments conveniently explain why barrels of explosive chemicals are so prominent. Like I said, the explosions in this game are amazing and there always seem to be a can of danger in proximity to the enemy. It's like there is a directive from head office stating that all newly-hired terrorists must congregate at the nearest explosive material container. It makes for a great cinematic effect but after a while it just seems so forced that it takes away from the realism.
Enemies are not very intelligent, as you could already tell. It's only their sheer numbers that really pose a threat to you. They don't take cover, except behind barrels of explosives like the coyote from the roadrunner cartoon. They always expose their heads which gives you a better opportunity at making headshots.
You will be restricted, at times, by the weapons that are available. The most coveted of weapons are ranged weapons su

This game is great, but the story is lacking, gameplay is fun with things blowing up all around you. I hope you're a great FPS player because it's HARD too.

Imagine you have just awoken from a 20 year coma, drank a 6 pack of Jack Daniel's Australian whiskey to celebrate, and then grabbed a bunch of guns to go shooting up Eastern Unnamedistan. Yes, it gets pretty insane out there. In this game, you play as Master Chief's great-great-grand completely unrelated person, which I find surprising, because YOU will kill millions of AI bots all by yourself. The game is fun, though. The into movie is awesome, and I liked the horrendously-acted cut scenes. They remind me of how much I loved the Star Wars prequels; OK/bad acting + awesome action and plot = 4/5.
My favorite line from Star Wars Episode 2 is the "romantic" balcony scene on Coruscant.
Anakin: <with no emotion> Padme, you're so...beautiful.
Padme: <with great acting and really sounding in love> It's because I'm so in love with you, Annie!
Anakin: <still with no emotion but tryiing really really hard to seem like he is a half-decent actor> No- it's cuz I am so in love with YOU!
*awkward silence. Anakin and padme stare at each other for a solid 8 seconds before the camera cuts to another scene.*
Jesus H. Christ. That was when people who weren't hysterically laughing started to walk out of the theatre. At the end of my 6 and a half our "Star Wars experience," there was still an angry mob, with pitchforks, molotov cocktails, and all, demanding refunds from the front desk.
In a word, LOL.
Nao, back to my review....
Black, or Brack in North Korean (I saw Team America, so I know this stuff) uses gr8 fizicks to allow users to shoot through walls and stuff. It is truly a great game, thought only to be possible on PC computers before hand.
Speaking of PC computers, I ought to tell you aboot (Canadian accent?) Windows Vista. But, that is another rant that is over 8 times longer than what I am writing now. Buy this game. Happy gaming.
