If you hold left on Classic mode or Rebirth mode it will turn green and all items you pick up will be doubled.

Save your ammo!!!

You will find yourself always low on ammo so whene ever you can run from zombies and only shot them if they make it hard to get around. I was always trying to get the next few bullets to kill the next enemy so like I've said right before save what you can whenever you can.
