Game Description

Game Boy e-Reader Color adaptation of the classic NES action sidescroller from 1985. Balloon Fight is Nintendo's rendition of Joust, but with balloons instead of birds providing the lift. You play Alice out to rescue her runaway brother who's floated off on his balloons. Time to go after him by strapping on a set of balloons. Levels are laid out in such a way that you'll have to maneuver around spiked objects as well as enemies out to put a hole in the latex. There will be a few mini-games hidden in Balloon Fight where you can earn yourself a few needed 1ups. The game features three modes of play: the one player mode, where you'll have to go through the many waves of levels to reach your brother; the two player mode, where you're battling one on one to pop the other person's balloons; and Balloon Trip -- this is a marathon mode where you'll fly as long as you possibly can, trying to score a high ranking.
