Good, but not amazing.

This game was brought to my attention through a demo disk i received at the PAX last summer. I couldn't play it on my older computer, due to it being a pentium 4 with a dated graphics card, but I put the demo on my new computer once I got it. That having been said, be sure that your computer at LEAST meets the minimum requirements listed on the box, preferrably exceeding them.
While entertaining, this RTS did not hold up to my expectations, which are admittedly a little high. The gaming is rather slow paced, quite possibly one of the slowest moving RTS games ever (online at least, in SP you can speed up the game play, from -10 to +10. in my opinion it should have been set at a constant +4)
The graphics are stunning, so if you do ever get bored, you can always watch your units blow stuff up =)
Lastly, while they do advertise replayabily through 3 different races, there isn't all that much different between the three, aside from the looks. While a fun game, if you are looking for a very strategy oriented RTS, I would recommend looking elsewhere (AoE2 anyone?)
