If your car is somewhat underpowered and you are drafting in a race that doesn't have any penalties, instead of trying to make a turn faster then your competitor you can just ram him if you know your not going to be able to beat him.

start with the charger, i did cuz its awesome but found out that when you enter it into this oldies car up with '70 and lower cars it is a freaking monster to all those little cars and you can rack up 10k per win the only down side is after a while i noticed they put in one of 2 cars to hold me in check: buick special or AC cars (idk wtf it is rly, just fast) so i suggest racing early in game so curve doesnt come as fast as it did for me

Once you get your license it's either A or B. Go to special events. Do the second race from the top. Once you do the race in normal and reverse they will give you an awesome rally car. It sells for $260,000. Do that as many times as you need to. It works good if your low on money. If you need any more tips on the game just leave me a message.

instead of taking 90 tests to get your S liscence on GT4, get your liscence on GT3 than load it to your GT4 file. You'll only have to do 40 tests. be sure to get some extra money to load while your at it!
