Pay attention to the maps!

When playing this game and while in a dungeon, make sure you pay attention to the map. It will reveal platforms in high and low places than one would not otherwise see. These platforms hold valuable items such as money, party heal, revives, weapons, and armor.

Save some AP

When fighting bosses, keep some AP so you can dart out of their range after you've got some good hits in. It may prolong the battles a bit, but some bosses can't be easily disposed of and can lay a thrashing on you if you don't move around the battle field with some strategy.
