Awesome

Controls are different, a lot different, but it seems to be better in a few hours of gameplay. The MONEY IN THE BANK ladder matches takes like an hour to complete. I just completed 1 in 47:47, but i did not win. RVD won! Imagine the swearing you would think is gonna be in this game, but truthfully, there isn't much, but is still strong. This game is a must have for many wwe fans. Includes new wrestlers like Boogeyman, Bobby Lashley, and many others. Has more legends. Some new ones are Jim "the anvil" Neidhart, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, and many others. 1 new belt is on the line. The Skull Crush belt. Stone Cold is the champ> The person to beat is the legendary Eddie Guerrero. No matter what level you play on, it seems like Guerrero has the upper hand. Maybe its because he is in heaven?

Best WWE Game

This game is one of the best I've ever played and I stayed up over 24 hours playing this game until I couldn't keep my eyes open. I like the new Ladder match controls where you have to find the sweet spot by moving the L and R analog sticks in a certain spot to get the Championship Belt and the new Money in the Bank. I give the game 5 stars!

Taking the title

Reviewed by shadowsofchaos on February 22, 2007  |  report this review

This is my favorite game in the world. The graphics are unparalleled even on ps2, the roster is up to date. I love how they made Eddie Guerrero a W Legend. RIP Eddie. This game has the best story mode anyone could ask for, several hours b4 u beat it and even when you gat the title you gat drafted to the opposite brand for several more hours of fun. The in-ring graphics are better too. Setting down/up tables and ladders are less pixelated, but slower. ultimate controls are the best new addition. Try imagining using your control to pick up somebody in a powerbomb position, bombing them once, twice, and then bombing em over the top rope! you can do the same thing through tables too!
You can fight in between crowds, pick up signs and cheer WITH them if you are a good guy or rip it if youre bad. Peoplez will also hold out crutches and umbrellas to use as a weapon. You can stick people's head in a microwave and blow it up, choke em' with a cable, smash smash and smash their heads on a stair repeadetly. the possibilities are endless.

SMACKDOWN VS. RAW 2007

SMACKDOWN VS. RAW 2007 Is one of the best games for it's graphics. The graphics on this game are amazing, but the new controls are so hard to use. The roster is so much different then 2006. Theres got to be like fourty more wrestlers than last years. They put Mick Foley, Cactus Jack, Dude Love, and Man Kind in the game. They even put Shane McMahon in the roster. But the best part of the game is D-GENERATION X. They put DX in the game and let me tell you that it is so awsome. They are the best tag team ever. D-GENERATION X also has the best entrance in the game. It's so realistic. I would suggest this game to everyone. I give it five stars.

I play this game all the time when i don't have anything more to do. The graphics are awasome even on the ps2 console. They really made a great game.

The graphics are great, fighting in the crowd is cool, and the new ultamite control system is alright! But what really sucks is that everything else was better in last years game.

svr is so cool. i love all of the things you can do like the money in the bank match and creat your own title. i think its cool that you can defend the title that you created. the story mode could of been a little better and a little more realistic.the poeple that are in it are pretty cool like eddie guerrero and the hart foundation.

Videogames based on the world of professional wrestling, like the event itself, have always had their share of big pops and blown spots. For every No Mercy or Here Comes the Pain, there's a Rumble Roses or Legends of Wrestling waiting backstage. Luckily for THQ, its annual WWE SmackDown series has typically been on the upside of things -- adding enough yearly improvements to keep fans happy with what Vince and company bring to the table. But like most great wrestlers who stick with the same gimmick for far too long, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 is starting to feel a little too familiar for its own good.

Now don't misunderstand, SmackDown 2007 is still an impressive combination of wrestling, storytelling, and customization. Like every year before it, it offers a number of new gameplay and feature additions and continues its reign as one of the better looking combat games around. The issue here is that after eight straight years of Yuke's modus operandi, the presentational formula hasn't evolved enough to feel as fresh as it used to. But we'll have more on that a little later. First, let's talk about what SmackDown does right -- and that includes a lot.
Let's begin with the control scheme, which is the first and most obvious difference between this year's title and those that came before it. Wrestler control has been moved to the right analog stick instead of the face buttons and, though there is a definite learning curve (which can take as long as a week to get used to), the new system is definitely more responsive and fun to use than the old method. Another benefit of the new system is that it makes flowing from one move into another easier because the analog stick emulates realistic movements more naturally (though not on the same level as something like Fight Night or NHL 2K7). It's hard to go back to older SmackDowns after using the analog configuration.

Tying into the analog grappling system is another one of SmackDown vs. Raw's more appealing new features, the "Ultimate Control Moves." Initiated by a press of the R3 button, ultimate control adds much-needed player influence on the action at hand. Though it can't be used for every move in your arsenal, the UCMs do allow you to control the speed and frequency of certain powerslams, DDTs, powerbombs, and suplexes. The only downside to these maneuvers, is that they aren't always balanced properly -- sapping your stamina dry after you perform three or four "groin on the ring" pushes, while allowing you to pull off three or four repeating powerbombs with similar (or perhaps even less) stamina repercussions. It's a neat idea sure, but not without its problems.
Perhaps the most entertaining (and addictive) new feature for SVR '07, is the inclusion of environmental hot spots and the option to fight in the crowd. To THQ's credit, these mini-sequences really capture the feeling of the WWE's more brutal match-ups (the hardcore matches of the late '90s in particular spring to mind) and are definite

The best wwe game yet but i haven't played 08. Totally new characters like Cactus Jack, Dude Love, Shane McMahon, The Boogeyman, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Bobby Lashley and alot more. One more new title (the Skull Crush) and Stone Cold is the champ. I love how they make Eddie Guerrero a legend. They also made alot of other wrestlers champs like Stone Cold, Dusty Rhodes, and more. The only thing that i dont like is that they made Shane McMahon a legend and i really hate Shane. It also includes new matches like Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Pillow Fight Match, Over the Top Rope, and more. The best wrestling game probably ever.

Best WWE game I've evered played. Just being able to play as all of the wrestlers. I even like the new matches like the money in the banks. And u got to love making a stable like DX. And if u ain't down with that then DX has two words for ya: suck it.
