Let the Hells burn Down!

Lair is awsome. but what will tick you off is some of the controls. the motion sensoring is fairly good...except the hole on ground with your dragon thing...which is so annoying considering that when you kill like 10 solders the camera goes into stransition,so you have to move the camera with the motion sensoring.which gives you no heads up so youll likely end up missing your enemies.but all in all lair is a fairly decent game, though dissapointing in my eyes its a game to be remembered.
Sixaxis did it make or break "Lair"

Lair in my own opinion is one of the best titles for the PS3.I bought it on the day it came out and did not stop playing until i had a bronze medal on every mission. Visualy it is very appealing, compared to games in its category it has no equal. The sound track is also very amusing, it really pulls you into the game. Ok so you've heard it all in other reviews that the game is amazing or that it compleatly sucks, and the biggest contraversy is the sixaxis control. I loved the control set up i thought it was done perfectly it gave you the feel that you were in control on the mythical beast, but i also took a good 30 to 45 min just doing the practice missions. I feel that if you take the time to learn the controls the game flows smoothly with no hiccups. This is where the bad reviews come in to play, if you don't take the time you just cant control that giant lizard, you will end up doing more damage to your own troops and get frustrated as you fly around looking like a falling maple leaf in a gust of wind.I give it a well deserved 9.5 out of 10

This was an outstanding game. The graphics were little lower than what I expected. The far landscape draw was slow as well. Putting this all aside, I had tons of fun. The sixaxis controls were hard to use at first, but after playing the missions a couple times, it gets EASIER! Anyone who played more than 2 hours on this game will know, and enjoy the rest of the game. The game does get frustrating, since I constantly died, or tried to obtain at least Bronze. My advice: You will either like it, or hate it.
Pretty Cool Game

I think that over all it suffers from a little lack of polish, but the game is certainly stylish and the first real attempt at inovation using the sixaxis, which takes some getting used to. A good extra coat of paint and some tightening of the controls and the game would stand out as one of the best titles available, maybe even help sony move some systems, but, as it is, even though fairly solid and good looking it settles in with the other ps3 games which are all, so far pretty solid, like I said in a different review, it looks like sony is going for quality over quantity in the ps3 library, which sets the bar pretty high for it's games, so many that might of been just unreal a year ago, will have to be almost perfect to stand out. Good game, but I would go to Blockbuster and rent it first to see if it's for you. I gave it a little lower rating than the other reviews because even though I enjoyed the game i wasn;t overly thrilled like with Resistance or Heavenly Sword, but I agree with all the points they have made, and Lair gets bonus points for being original. 3.5 out of 5

i would like to change my vote due to the fact that yes, i have now played Lair without the use of Motion control and let me say, that the game is pure Heaven. The game finally lives up to an AAA title, only if Factor 5 could'v done this sooner, preferbly when it was launched.
