To say that this game is not without faults would be misleading. The equipment is not as high quality as GH3 - but if you take care of it, it seems to be lasting (at least mine is). The microphone has terrible delay with HDTVs in surround sound, but you can eliminate it by turning off the surround sound.
Now - the good. It's the ultimate party game. Invite some friends over and have a blast. There are a ton of good songs on it and the downloadable songs are getting better and better. As long as they keep releasing new songs, the game will never get old. The drums are a blast to play and the guitar is slightly easier than GH3. Singing is fun, of course, and if you can get rid of that delay, it's perfect karaoke.
You won't be disappointed if you love music!
great game

this game is very good. the instruments are of good standard, the music included is great. before Rock Band, i've only heard some of the songs in the game. but after playing it for a while, i truly began to enjoy them. so it's a great way to broaden your musical tastes. this game also has some flaws to say the least. there is no cut-scenes, the guitar requires batteries (which are included), the drums are particularly loud, it is possible to miss a drumming note even if you reacted in time (it's probably just me). however this game does deliver what it promises, a musical game for you and your friends. and at the end of the day, that's all you could ask for.

The Good>>>>As party games go, this one tops the charts Included hardware is a lot of fun to play with Band world tour mode is severely addictive Fantastic presentation This game will probably make you a better drummer.
The Bad>>>>$170 price is a lot of money Band world tour can't be played online Some hardware reliability concerns.

i would highly recommend this game for anyone who likes to play 4 player games with their friends! its a great game for parties or just playin solo.
the peripherals that come with it are fantastic and do not break as easy as most people say. i would also recommend this to any musicians that play drums or guitar or just have a great singing voice.
long story short, its a great game and its worth the 40 points! 5/5!
