LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game

Legos and Star Wars, the perfect fusion on February 24, 2007

This is a great combination of two of my great nostalgic joys, Legos and Star Wars (who would have thought that, from the cryptic game title?). The game play is a little guided, you pretty much react in predictable ways to cues in your environment, but it makes it easy to pick up and play quick. It's a fun twitch game with an awesome theme. The fact that the enemies are legos that break apart make the violence innoffensive enough to play the game in front of the kids. It's a great two player game as well, since players can join in or drop out at any time and the other player can continue playing. Also, the fact that there are unlimited lives makes sure the game keeps moving, even for players who are having a rough time getting the game mechanics down. Unlimited lives also means that you and a friend can pick Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, and reenact the epic fight between them.
